Have you ever worked with a client or a colleague who innocently thought that design is somewhat achieved by the push of a button? If you are like me, then this must have frustrated you to the point of angry thoughts and complaining to fellow designers.

I have realized though that, as designers we have a responsibility to present ourselves as more than the artworks we create hence my journey into creating this portfolio. We have to be able to articulate our thought processes backed up by knowledge and facts whenever we are in question.

As a designer currently based In Nairobi, I believe that one of the ways we can educate our potential or current clients is by holding big, impact driven forums where designers and industry leaders can come together to talk about and learn the importance of design in business.
